- What if I change my mind after you begin?
The artist would then charge you for material and her time up to the point of cancellation.

- What if I have more than one pet?
Depending upon the size canvas you've chosen, each head would be priced accordingly.

- I have several pets but in different photos and want one portrait. What can I do?
While placing your pets side by side is a wonderful idea, there are so many subtleties that make the portrait "read" to the human eye. Unless the photos were taken at the same time (outside), with the same light source and from the same direction and level, I would suggest multiple portraits. Pricing of multiple painting is negotiable.

- Can you mix and match photos of the same pet to create one portrait?
I would use multiple photos as a guide to your pets features, but would not suggest mixing and matching for the reasons mentioned above. But, again, I would be happy to examine any photograph of your pet before we decide.

- I'd like to change the background, is that possible?
Definitely. We can talk about what you'd like and make a decision before I begin.

- I'd like to see my portrait before I pay in full, is that possible?
I send an electronic file of the the finished portrait before payment as a rule.

- What materials do you use and how can I care for my painting?
I use artist's grade oil paints guaranteed to last a life time. I use heavy-duty 10 oz. 100% cotton canvas that is double coated with acid-free titanium gesso on 1.5" stretchers.

- Do the paintings come framed?
No. They arrive unframed, with the sides painted accordingly eliminating the need for a frame or allowing the extra canvas for re-stretching.

- How do I give a portrait as a gift?
